allow people to send them private messages?Do they not want to face constructive criticism regarding what they post here?I have found that the largest majority of people who quote the Bible in regards to various subjects of sin and Hell seem to also have no "send email" option in their profile.I challenge those who don't allow the recieving of private messages the following: switch your settings to allow private email messages.Nobody will know your email address.Until you do, how can any of us, using reason and common sense, be able to share our reason and common sense with you.
This website has some reason and common sense about at least one topic:
http://www.freewebs.com/humanity22
So, will you lead by example and alter your settings before posting here?

Hit and run. They don't want to have to defend what they say so they will not make any available means of communicating with them. I personally don't buy the spam excuse because you can get very good spam filters to take care of that.

incorrect. Assuming is your pastime. this question is asked a minimum of as quickly as an afternoon. Atheists are people who have not got faith in gods. that's it. in case you have been to stop being so rude as to anticipate that i'm no longer a spiritual man or woman, then please, pass to your dictionary and look up the meaning of "religious". there is greater effective than one definition to the notice. I even have faith in spirits, returned, greater effective than one definition. what's with the selections? Does one must be a chef to make a contribution to the baking section? i'm drawn to automobile racing, do I must be a driving force? understand that theists have not got a monopoly on the religion AND Spirituality section. in case you want people to ask and answer questions purely to do with your flavour of religion, pass to a christian purely section or regardless of you're. this may be a public communicate board wherein everyone can question or answer, religious or no longer. For the main section, the atheists who question and respond are especially civil.

I don't really need to answer this because I can tell you already know the answer. So I will just make a few comments.
1) Religion is the opiates of the people - Karl Marx (philosopher, social scientist, historian and revolutionary).
2) In the last 15 years in particular the conservatives and religious right-wing fringe elements have been using religion as a way to convert everyone to their way of thinking...or else. Clearly, these people want to post messages espousing the goodness of the right way of thinking - theirs! Only their opinion counts. You could no more get your point of view across to these people than you could teach a slug to sing the Star Spangled Banner! That is why none of them want to be contacted.
3) Bad people have always done bad things. For good people to do bad things, you need organized religion.
Good luck trying to get through to them, but I doubt that you will succeed. They are cowards.
By the way, I salute your post and you!

I personally do not post hateful things. I do not want to receive any emails from individuals here and if there is any challenge to anything I say, post it in the form of a question and I will respond. I also use reason and common sense.

No because most of the people who use names like Buck Fush think we have no common sense to change the letters around to get the full meaning of someones intent. I will not be drawn in to a contest on my private Email with someone who obviously has no reason or common sense.
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

Yeah, at first I didn't let people send things but then when I found out that when emailing through this, it hides your email address, I immediately made emailing me possible. I even created a new AIM account just for people to IM me for debating.

I have done that. I had 100+ emails a day. I'm tired of the cussing and ZERO discussion. Atheists and muslims revert to cussing and name calling when they get in a pinch. LOOK at this site. Who is doing the cussing? Who's moongod is going to behead you? I won't have my email flooded again with willful ignorance.
If you have a specific question, ask it.

Most people are on here and feel that they can freely speak because of the anonymity factor. If I want to hear what you people have to say, then I will read it on YA. I don't want email from people who have nothing better to do than to argue, or insult me or try to convert me to their beliefs in private. Make your case here because you're not invited into my private life.

My option to receive e-mails has always been present since I joined Yahoo-Answers, I am a gnostic Christian, and I respond to most e-mails so long as they contain no insulting or obscene content. If you have a problem with some Christians, don't generalize us all into the same lump of clay, please.

I quote the Bible, you or anyone can email me anytime. Then again, I quote a lot of things. To me it's called wisdom and Truth.
