There are two types of people in the world. The first is a kindred spirit who loves for others what they love for themselves, and can see a soul through our differences. The other is spiteful, envious and wishes the good of others for themselves and the bad of themselves for the others, and are unsure of themselves and uncomfortable with anything different. Message boards and chat rooms that deal with specific differences (religion, politics, race/nationality) tend to make the two more obvious and clear from one another.
Sometimes I wish there were a way to see what a person thinks (such as in the privacy of identity on this board) when you first come upon them, so that you know right away which type of person they truly are and can decide whether to make acquaintance with them, but still some make it so obvious from the first moment.

Hey, believe me, I've heard a lot of hate from a lot of Christians. I don't hate anybody, but that doesn't mean I go around shouting "I love you all!" I dislike some people, but hate? Too strong a word, only the mentally sick hate. Do you love Hitler? Stalin?
As to being "empty" I couldn't feel the opposite anymore. I'm very happy, and never feel "hatred" or emptiness in my heart. Sure, some people here are guilty of "hatred" but don't label everybody as, or else we'll label all of you Christians as hating too.

You love me even when I am unlovable? Now that doesn't make any kind of sense. Who are you to say that I am unlovable? I'm not a Christian or an Atheist or a non-believer. I am a child of God just like you are and He loves me whether you do or not.
PS: I don't have an ounce of hate in my body.

I don't think they're anymore virulent in their hatred than Christians are, especially with their hatred of homosexuals. It's disgusting how un-Christian they can show themselves to be when this topic arises.

Uhm. No.
Christians aren't always so nice and loving.
Some are nice, yes, but you can't say all of them are.
And you are lumping together all 'non-believers' together and saying they have hatred towards you.
Most 'non-believers' just hate it when you try to convert them. Although some could care less.
It's just the same as I said above.

A person needs God to really love correctly.
Without God, there is no true love, for the Bible says that God IS love.
God is a God of love, and He is also a God of judgement.
God is HOLY, and no sin will enter therein.
