To "Fool The Eye". I paint a lot of "Trompe L'Oeil" murals and decorative effects. So, it was nice to have and find a question on here, that I could relate to. I like the Trompe L'oeil technique because it really does fool people and they will look at a wall and think they could walk right through it. Like an English garden with a stone path. Or a wall painted to look like stone. Nice question!
