no normal hair color is the best, if you do don't do it yourself. Go to the hair salon, if you can't afford it then you know the real answer.

Your question was should i change from brunette to black................. Well it doesn't really matter what other people think (or even me) but I say what do "YOU" want to do?? Are you doing this for someone other then your self? b/c if you are don't.... you are beautiful no matter what people say! But if you just want a new look I say go for it! It's your choice!! But if I was you (a brunette,I have dark brown hair), I would think of going blond like a dark or strawberry blonde! Because Blonde is the "IT"! So think it over before you change your hair color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um... unless you have perfectly flawless skin and stunning bone structure then I'd say, bad idea! Black hair color tends to make flaws more noticable... don't ask me why, it just does. If you're hair is light brown to mid tone I'd suggest going for a shade of darker brown in a semi-perminate... so your roots don't show as bad once it starts to grow out. Any darker shade is going to seem10 times darker than you expect it to just cause of the change. Try that, if you want it darker... than go darker next time you dye.
A new hair color is fun... and you'll be old and gray one day, have fun now! :)

It really depnds on your skin colour, or if you visulize yourself in black hair. Before you make a desicion like that you should try to think about how you may look.

No way! lots of times when you dye your hair black it is just too dark and u don't have any natural highlights. don't go black unless you are going for a goth/emo look.

If thats what you want to do then why not? But just remember its harder to go back to the original color once youve colored your hair black. Good luck.

I won't recommend it. I think blonde highlights would be nicer and softer. Black would be to harsh.
