because of pamala anderson. or some blonde chick with big boobs who is famous for marrying some really old guy for his money i think thats her but there are so many these days i get confuzed

its a common stereotype in movies and books, and just like all stereotypes, shallow people assume every blonde falls in the category of being stupid. One sad thing is, so many blondes think its cute, which adds to it (i know thats in movies too, but come on, if you go to high school, you totally understand how a blonde girl will flirt with a guy - by acting stupid). However, i dont place this stereotype on every blonde girl i meet. i know plenty that are really intelligent. its just ignorance so if you are blonde and reading this, set out to prove teh stereotype wrong.

Mostly because it seems to be true. Blondes tend to be very into themselves and not to interested in anything else. This includes nonblondes with dyed hair. They can get by on mostly looks alone so why not?

It is indeed a stereotype. I think it started with Marilyn Monroe's stage personality, in which she played the childlike persona in front of people because it pleased them and because it was her defense against exposure of her deeper feelings.

because natural blondes are usually(often) beautiful,so they dont usually have time to improve their knowledge about some unnecessary things like maths,science and such,and of course other girls are most likely to be jealous so they should attack blondes in all ways :)
