It is a great feeling when you have made something with your own hands such as bread, and everyone around you can't get enough. I love cooking and baking so that is the best compliment.

I think the best part is knowing what went into your meal, because you made it. I sometimes wonder while eating at a restaurant...where has this food been and where did it come from? How many hands without gloves have touched it and where were those hands before they were touching my food? It can get kind of scary. Eating at home is the best option..and plus when I cook I do it with love knowing that it will nourish my family. Food is love!!!

When you cook your own food you are in control of what goes into it. You can control the quality and the nutrition content of what you eat. It also makes the house smell great and welcoming - and it's just plain fun.

Choosing my menu. From appetizers, to dessert. even the selection of wines. Most of all, using the freshest ingredients.
The presentation is also very important.. I love to set a beautiful table to coordinate with what I am serving. The freshest flowers, table linens, candles, etc.
Finally, the rewards of experimenting and satisfying your family or guests
