Not that I'm thinking about getting engaged anytime soon. But I guess I want to see how to lay out the whole day. What should my woman receive? Where should I take her? When in the evening would be the right time? Just your thoughts. How do you imagine it happening?

Any proposal would be perfect as long as it was from the heart, I guess tho I would like to be proposed too on holiday on a beach in Cyprus, around sunset . . . then go back and celebrate just the two of us with a bottle of bubbly on our balcony overlookin the sea , hmmm with the smell of jasmine

lol was that too specific

not over the phone like my ex-fiance did. i'd like my boyfriend to surprise me with a proposal now. i'd love it if he went out and bought me a new outfit to take me out in. We could go to dinner and maybe a play. And it would cool if he made some type of arrangements ahead of time where he could proprose to me on stage or something. I think that mid evening would be nice like around 9pm so we'd still have the rest of the night to celebrate. Oh and after we got engaged he could take me to a nice hotel suite with a room filled full of roses and rose petals on the bed so we could make love all night to celebrate. i know, i'm high maintance, i expect alot. LOL!

In my mind, I wake up and I find him sitting on the chair right across the bed, lost in thought. He's wearing his favourite worn out pjs, his hair is scruffy. He looks at me and he smiles and I smile back and we don't need to say a word to tell each other "I love you. I want to spend whatever time I have on this planet with you by my side." He lightly throws the box, it lands on the pillow next to me. It's a simple silver band.
No words needed. The eyes say it all. No fancy dinners or surprises. If she didn't expect it, then you're not on the same train.

Anywhere ! As long is the man is honestly asking and Oh yeah, he has to ask the parents permission first. The bend on knee thing is good too. FLOWERS!!!!!>>> The ring is essential. It better be good. It's a lifetime investment. I don't care what people say about size.. that's bull. What you guive her says alot about the Man you are.

If a man were to propose to me it would be something like in the movies. You would surprise me like putting the ring in my wine or getting me to do something you know i hate and ask me when you know i am bored.

I would say you can take her out to a nice restaurant. one of those fancy ones. then take out to enjoy a nice town, like to a nice city or town just walking and enjoying yourself. then like you can walk through a nice park or somewhere nice like the beach or something and ask her. make sure that its like the evening or night and its beautiful outside.

He is saying he wants to tell me something very important.
He just gets down on one knee and says will you marry me.
We are in front of notre dame cathedral and i scream yes! and we make out.
