Item: Mexican ambulance drivers are transporting hospital patients unable to pay for medical care in Mexico to facilities in the United States. They know that the federal Emergency Medical Act mandates that U.S. hospitals with emergency-room services treat anyone who presents themselves for care, including illegal aliens. The ambulances are driving through unguarded portions of the border with "little resistance" at the instruction of Mexican officials.

Angela, I asked someone I knew and was told not only is it true, but they don't have to stop at the border for an emergency - and one time the mexican army crossed the border demanding someone back at gun point and wouldn't leave until we had backup - but you'll never hear about this

Yes, it is exploiting another country's resources. The question then is whether it is an unfair exploitation. After all, we are talking about ambulances and people in emergency situations. If we can save a life by allowing this, I'm for it.

How the hell do they cross the border in an Ambulence? Sounds a little fishy to me; maybe a snopes check out is in order? Possibly an Internet myth.

But yes this would be an example of Mexico exploiting our limited (very limited) resources.

Jeez, where do you come up with this?

I live on the border and I have never heard or read any such stories. Mexico is so close to me i can see it from my back yard.....

My sister is a registered nurse at our local county hospital and there is no such thing.....

You just want to spread the politics of fear and hate....get a life...

Look at your source....its not an objective publication, but a right wing nut. Pure propaganda.....

Landmines seem like a good solution.

Seriously I dont blame the people, but I think that the Mexican Government are criminals, and should be brought to justice.

Yep!
Do you mean to tell me that the USA doesn't have a properly guarded border? What an outrage!
