With the ever changing immigration laws, a child cannot sponsor their parents until they are of legal age (18).

My Colombian nephew is here living with family members, he was born here. His parents went back to Colombia and he plans to send for his mom when he's 21.

Since I work at DHS, I know for a fact that illegal immigrants cannot get welfare for themselves. At most they can get MA (medic-aid) when they're pregnant.

Umm it is meant in a derogatory way.


I found this from a site " illegal alien parents who have children born in the U.S. are seldom deported . That's why their children are called "anchor babies" - they anchor their families securely in the U.S.A."

YES ITS DEROGATORY

its poor illegal immigrant women who purposely have children born here in America because then they can apply for welfare. the more anchor babies the more welfare. I swear.
