in some peoples tongues, there r lines or marks as if it was cut... the people where born like that.. wats the cause?

it looks like someone used a knife cut cut in marks into your tongue, does it have to do with genes?

i was born like that... and i alwayz take alot of vitamins...

ln some cases,it's genetic.But this is rare.
lt is more likely due to Riboflavin deficiency (vitamin B 12).A lack of this vitamin causes loss of patches and papillae and may give rise to what is called a ''geographic tongue''--so called because the lines on the tongue resemble maps cut onto the surface!
This has no clinical significance .
Adequate intake of B12 is healthy however,so get a B-complex supplement and tell the person to take 1 twice daily for 2 weeks.

you are what you eat remember dr gillain had a programe on tv , got a book out tells you all the signs , plus tongues, cracks grooves cuts etc, all to do with diet what you eat ,

This sounds like a lack of vitamins / minerals. Grab some fruit / veg / multi vits and see if that helps.

i think tongeus look tell u how is ur health,,,so i have heard ,,,never seen marks ,,,well best check if u ok

if it does not effect your life and you can still eat and talk then it really doesn't matter too much.
