I have a Sharp Hi-8 Viewcam and I want to be able to burn my movies to a DVD. I have 2 DVD Burners (in 2 different computers) On one of my computers I have Media Center with the TV Tuner and everything. Can I somehow record right from my Viewcam to my computer and then burn right to a DVD ? Thanks for any help anyone can offer. I really appreciate it.

Yes. If you have the cable connector integrated in the back of your computer, plug in the cord for your camera as if you were going to plug it directly into your TV. If it is an RCA connection (3 lines, yellow, white, red,), go to Radio Shack and get an adaptor. The adaptor will be something like "female RCA to male F connector", or something of the like. If you have and S-video connector coming from your camera, do the same thing except your adapter will beed to be S-Video instead of RCA. Hook it into your computer and record like you would a television show!
