Not at all. As far as I'm concerned, coffee's coffee. Give me Timmy's anyday over Starbucks. That and some of the drinks at Starbucks have as many calories as a BigMac.

It depends what kind of coffee you like firstly. While I find Starbuck's speciality drinks overpriced-if you would like a plain cup of coffee-that is good value for the coffee. Starbucks is smooth and mellow and I rarely get heartburn from it. This is in stark contrast to Italian styles of coffee which is a bit stronger and considered bitter if you aren't a fan of it.

Starbucks coffees are also nice because they tend to be better prepared for drinking on the go-so a lot of the cost goes into the highly developed packaging as well.

But for all coffee drinks besides the regular coffee-be aware you are paying for an image and a brand. If you value being seen drinking Starbucks as opposed to McDonalds coffee-then Starbucks is for you. However be on your guard for the next popular item around-or you could be left in the dust!

I think it is. It really helps if the starbucks you go to is in a safeway because then you can get every 7th or 8th drink free, using your safeway card

No; it is just coffee! I can make it at home for a nickel and put in all the fancy stuff I want, like whole cream, splenda, cinnamon, even chocolate chips!

Plus I can stay in my jammies :)

Based upon it's incredible world-wide popularity the answer is apparently 'yes'. I personally would be content with Folgers.

No. I think their coffee tastes burnt and it upsets my stomach.

Tim Horton's is worth the cost!
