Sometimes keeping a food diary can help. Sometimes we don't remember how much we have snacked on during the day. The food diary can help you see if you are snacking excessively or help you see a bad habit.
If snacking is your problem you can look into a couple of options. You can cut down on your snacking or plan for healthier snacks. Don't drastically change your diet unless you know that you can stick with it. Otherwise you just gain all of the weight back because you go back to old habits. Just change a little at a time. Try having two "healthy meals" a week. Something as simple as having grilled food, instead of something fried.
Also, to lose weight you really need to do some type of exercise. Find something that you enjoy doing. You will be more likely to stick with it. Maybe walking, swimming, yoga, dance, aerobics. Just whatever you find interesting. If you bore easily you may want to try doing more than one thing. For instance, walking with friends on Monday and Wednesday, yoga on Tuesday and Thursday. The next week try dance on Mon. and wed. and aerobics or Tues. and Thurs.. You just have to find what works for you. The most important thing is to keep it fun and interesting. Take time and try some new things!
I hope these suggestions were helpful. Good luck and just keep the faith in yourself. You can do it. You just have to decide that you are ready to.

Low fat (skim) milk can help you loose weight when included as a part of a low-calorie diet.
I have been drinking skim milk (about 2 gallons a week) for years and years. Because I was already drinking milk on a regular basis, regular exercise has had more of an effect on my weight than anything else. But I think that if you previously haven't been drinking much milk, then it will help you.

A very vague question...low-fat milk by itself will not help you lose weight if you're packing away twinkies and pizza with it. A low (saturated) fat diet, high in whole grains (fiber), low in refined sugars (natural sugars: fructose in fruits and lactose in dairy is fine), with moderate intakes of lean meats (protein) is the way to go. Calories really don't mean a whole lot anymore, since we've been educated on the right core foods to eat. It's possible to have a not-good-for-you low-calorie meal if you're not choosing the right foods.
Women need the calcium in milk products for strong bones, since we are more susceptible to osteoporosis. There are very few other sufficient sources of calcium, and calcium supplements ALONE are not recommended. BTW, Organic whole milk DOES have saturated fats...you'd want organic to avoid the antibiotics, growth hormones or pesticides that non-organic cows receive or ingest. You can buy lowfat organic milk, though (that is fortified with Vit D).

No. Milk is fat. If the fat is taken out, then there is the high sugar and calorie content to deal with. Milk is not a diet product in any way. This is a LIE, started by the dairy council to sell more milk since sales have dropped off in the last few years. This is due to the fact that so many ppl are researching and learning the truth about how bad milk is for the human body.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

No. It would be better for you if you drank whole organic milk. Whole gives you all of the vitamins & minerals you need, and organic would make it not have all the fats in it. The best brand to buy would be Horizon (it's got a cow on it). Horizon is all organic. Organic is good for you, keeps you healthy, & helps you to loose weight.

Yes skim milk is a healthy decision but make sure to drink 3 glasses of it a day with plenty of fruits and nuts, skim milk is best when cold from the fridge!

its just light ...it has less calories but it wont dissolve fat..
the point is to keep the daily calories income lower than the one you had.you probably have to take daily 1500-1700 calories to keep your body weight stable.
by reducing that income you will start loosing slowly.
keep in mind that 1 gr of fat has 9calories
1 gr of protein has 5
1 gr of carbohydrates has 5
to loose 1 kg of fat that means you should loose 9000 calories
SO........
no fat free milk wont do you anything magic
