I am no doctor, but I will say that's not true. The reason being you have a cycle because your eggs did not get fertilized by sperm, and you need the cycle to flush out those unfertilized eggs. So if you just had a cycle to flush out the eggs then how can you get pregnant with no eggs. Now anything is possible, but for the most part if your eggs have just be flushed out by your cycle it kinda hard to get pregnant. I will give you a hint of advice. There is a certain time of the month were a women wants to have sex more, her breast/nipples are very tender to the touch, and sex around this times feels much better. That is when a women is ovulating and can get pregnant instantly so be careful. If you ever hear her say her breast or nipples are tender or sore then be very very careful. I hope this helped.

Ovulation usually occurs mid cycle, that is ovulation usually occurrs 14 days before the onset of bleeding.

However - ovulation can be upset by many factors, eg, sickness, alcohol, travel, stress etc which is why simply counting the days can be inaccurate

ovulation does not always occur at day 14, which is why counting the days or the rhythm method is an unreliable and often incorrect method of guaging fertily
It is only through getting to know your individual cycle that you can know what your pattern is.

So unless your cycle is very regular, and you keep track of it,you can become pregnant

It really depends on the women herself. On average the womens cycle goes something like this.

First day of period, then bleed for 4-7 days
About 14 days after the first day of her period is ovulation.
Then another 14 days 'till her period.

Now you can get pregnant for up to 4 days before you ovulate. And you may not ovulate at exactly 14 days.So in a sence no you can't get pregnant for the forst few days after your done bleeding if you are "average".

It is absolutely not true. A women can get pregnant any time sperm fertilizes one of her eggs. There is no window of opportunity to avoid pregnancy because not all women release eggs on the scientific schedule every 28 days... and not all women release just one. So to avoid pregnancy wrap it up, get on some sort of consistent doctor recommended birth control, or abstain all together until you can handle the responsibilities that go along with unplanned pregnancies.

A female can get pregnant while having a PERIOD. Another egg could have been pushed out of the ovary early and be waiting for a sperm to meet it.

No, a woman can get pregnant at any time. During different stages in her cycle it may be easier or more difficult to get pregnant but as long as everything is in working order she can become pregnant at any time during her cycle. Always use protection, never assume you won't get a disease or accidental pregnancy. Be smart, be safe.
