I think TV in the bedroom can be a distraction for what the bedroom is really for. It is also a convenient excuse for people not to get up in move around... many people are already overwieght as it is. A tv should have its own designated area away from the bedroom especially if you have a partner. It is a great way to keep up the pillow talk and those cozy nights with out the interruption of mindless television shows.

Having a TV will prevent you from having good conversation. You and him will be staring at the TV rather than conversing with one another. The only good thing I can think about in having a TV in the bedroom is when you and him or her is watching soft-porn. Other than that, I can't seem to find a good reason.
