Where are some good places to fish around Charleston, Illinois?

Looking for bass, catfish, crappie, blue gill, muskie or anything that puts up a good fight and is good to eat.

I don't know where Charleston is. But the best fishing anywhere in Illinois, in my opinion, is the Illinois river for Sauger (Walleye's kissing cousin) or the Chain in Northern Illinois.

Although I understand the Kankakee is pretty good water to fish to and people are saying Vermillion lake (Don't know where that is) is getting better.
