IF YOU BELIEVE: JESUS CAME TO DIE FOR US SO WE CAN I BREAK GOD'S COMMANDMENTS, WHAT MAKES HIM SO DIFFERENT FROM SATAN? WHO WANTS US TO BREAK GOD'S COMMANDMENTS.

Matthews 5:17-20
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Revelations 12:17 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

7 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:4 - Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

I am not putting God's law above Jesus. You need Jesus to be saved. You need to have faith in him, but faith without works is dead.

We are justified by faith. Clearly I am not denying that. Scriptures don't contratict, Satan and Jesus don't have the same Goals. One of them is against God and his commandments. Revelations is CLEAR!
The Laws in the bible won't give you life, we live through Jesus. If you keep teaching to break the commandments, you will be least in the KINGDOM of HEAVEN!

Galatians that Maggie quoted is "misquote", Watch out, read your bible. I checked many translations. Gal. 3:25 does not say "their is no need to have the law as our teacher"

King James Ver. Gal. 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

simply its saying we are not under the law. but...Romans 6:15 - What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Jesus definitely does not want us to break the Ten Commandments or any other law God gives, but what Jesus did, was eliminate the need for sacrifices because he was and is the ULTIMATE sacrifice. Satan on the other hand wants us to break as many laws and knowingly turn away from God. Lucifer (Satan) was so jealous of the fact that God loves humans so much, he decided to turn away from his spot as the highest angel in Heaven to devote eternity to destroy and bring down humans. God gave us free will to decide whether to turn to Him or not; this does not therefore make him a tyrant. So to answer your question: no Jesus does not want us to break God's law and yes Satan does want us to break God's law and openly deny God and His son.

The law was part of God's covenant with Israel. A covenant is a contract. A contract is only binding until it is completed. Say that you make a contract with a man to build you a house. The contract outlines what the house is going to look like, what wood will be used, how it will be finished inside, etc. Until that house is built completely according to this contract, the man building it is under obligation to this contract. Once the house is finished according the specifications in the contract, the man is then released from the contract, it has been fulfilled (Matthew 5:17)

Gal 3:21 Does the Law disagree with God's promises? No, it doesn't! If any law could give life to us, we could become acceptable to God by obeying that law.
Gal 3:22 But the Scriptures say that sin controls everyone, so that God's promises will be for anyone who has faith in Jesus Christ.
Gal 3:23 The Law controlled us and kept us under its power until the time came when we would have faith.
Gal 3:24 In fact, the Law was our teacher. It was supposed to teach us until we had faith and were acceptable to God.
Gal 3:25 But once a person has learned to have faith, there is no more need to have the Law as a teacher.
Gal 3:26 All of you are God's children because of your faith in Christ Jesus.

these are just a few

Rom 10:4 For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

jesus states plainly in matthew chapter 5:17-19
do not think that i have come to abolish the law or the prophets; i have not come to abolish them but to fullfil them.
(read carefully) i tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disapear, not the smallest letter , not the least stroke of a pen will by any means disapear from the law until everything is accomplished.
and anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Very good back up on your question. You missed totally why the Law was given,it was given to convict men of their sin not to be their salvation. When Christ say he is the fulfillment of the law He is saying I am the sacrifice that is fit to buy you back.
What you have done in asking your question is exactly what the Pharisees did. They extolled the law and ignored God.

You need to read that verse again! Jesus said it plainly! Jesus wants us to obey the commandments and the ones he added. If you are trying to make a point about the whole book of the OT IT'S NOT WORKING! The OT is a Historical VIEW of the Israelites. Christians are not Israelites nor Jews. WE are Gentiles!

Beacuse:

This is how:

Virgin Birth - Was it a preconceived notion?

What is the Imacculate Conception?

An Imacculate Deception?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?

Jesus? Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Gods do not die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

If you swallow this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to swallow it too.

They want everyone to convert to their non-thinking.

JESUS came to "fulfill the law", that the LORD our FATHER put down before Moses.

JESUS because the "perfect sacrafice", so that we dont have to sacrafice goats and sheeps any more. JESUS BLOOD, was all that was necessary for the perfect sacrafice and those who believe in HIM, and repent thier sins, and get baptised and live the "good Christian life", will be judged by JESUS and since your sins will have already been "wiped clean" by HIS BLOOD, you will be taken up, when HE comes to claim HIS OWN, the Church.

I wish you well..

Jesse

you have to be under the law to break it

The commandments were given by G-d to the Nation of Israel

if you are not a maternal descendant of one of those people or a convert to their religion you have no bearing on the law

Remember Jesus said he came only for the Jews...

Jesus is Satan.

If the bible is even remotely true and Constantine's version of the Jesus myth was true, Jesus is Satan.

He doesn't care what people do, he only wants them to worship him as God. 99% of Christians worship Jesus as God.
