I took two semesters of Italian in college. If you know another romance language (ex: Spanish, French) it should come very easily to you. I would recommend going to a store that sells software and buying a program that teaches you Italian. I got one for $40 at the Apple Store and it came with 8 CDs to teach Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Italian. Good luck and have fun!
