it is not safe to drink when you are taking any sort of medication

I wouldn't take the Zoloft with the alcohol.
Since Zoloft has sertraline in it the alcohol will cause you to get nauseated faster. Just don't drink too much alcohol. I know someone who is on the 100mg and he drinks maybe just one or two beers whenever he has a drink.
Just be careful.

Zoloft has a been known to bring out suicidal tendencies, So no it would be wise not to drink with it.

No, it is not safe to drink while taking it. I should know since I take the same medicine and the same amount, too. It says right on the bottle "DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL". So, there you have it.

I wouldn't do it. You should never drink alcohol when using any type of medication. If you insist on doing it, then call a doctor to be sure. Take care.

How many side affects do you have when your drinking??? I know that Zoloft isn't good for you."They say" Oh its OK,you'll be "OK" Be careful,,Have you thought about an alternative natural application..Or change your food intake?

You're usually advised not to drink when taking medication. Check with your doctor, or the leaflet that came enclosed =)

yeha you can... it depends on why you are taking it.. i'm on 50 mg of zoloft and my doctor says i can drink moderately so talk to whoever perscribed it for you

NO... besides alcohol is a depressant. Are you self medicating with Alcohol. If you cant stop try AA.

What does it say on the Label?
Don't mix drugs with alcohol, it'd be asking for trouble.
