i think it's wise to go for Sony......coz they will give u rechargeable batteries along with the cam.....n the best thing about Sony cam is that you can take pic at 1MP and if you like that one....you can convert it in 5MP (considering u've got 5MP camera).......so u don't need big size of memory card.....if you are having 32MB card, you can take about 45 pics on 1MP.......so after coming home if you like one perticular pic, you can convert it to 5MP in ur camera (again considering u've got 5MP camera). I have a Sony camera n the result is also fabulous. Also whn buying camera one other thing to look out for is optical zoom, which is the actual zoom. Digital zoom won't work better.
