"Of myself I am nothing. The Father doeth the works."
-Jesus

There may be sweet pleasures for the body in this world. But anything other than love for God, whose beauty is unmatched, is agony to the soul. What is agony of the soul? It is to advance towards death without being sustained by the water of life.
-Rumi, "Mathnawi"

Love blinds us to faults, hatred to virtues.
- Moshe ibn Ezra, "Shirat Yisrael

Gone to the beyond of becoming,
you let go of in front,
let go of behind,
let go of between.
With a heart everywhere let go,
you don't come again to birth

Man's imperfection is man's perfection. To be human is to be in God's grace. Anything else, would be perversed. There are no wrong answers when there are no right answers. Be happy. Live well. Stop asking questions, live. Free yourself of guilt, free of sin.

What's biblically to be let go of, "done away" as dung, "put away" as the "put off", taken away to establish grace (eternal life thereof), is the law, law imputed sin and death thereof. For law added to grace is sufficient makes God's grace "no more grace", as death makes eternal life no more eternal, but rather such grace + law added makes life + death added, which is a dead end.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Sounds like religious quotes to me.

You forgot the one that said:

You must continue until you no longer exist on this plain. When you have reached nothing, you have arrived.

Ab'da Akjem

I always wondered what he meant. But it sounds religious to me.
Religion: man's feeble attempts to reach god on his own strength and power.

God is our savior, he will not fail us....give your problems to the Lord and he will deal with them..."Footprints in the Sand" explains how he carries us in our time of need....The Serenity Prayer seems to remind of this statement as well....Do not let problems you can't fix determine your days end...worry not, and pray to God.
