Leanna, the Charger, Coronet, & Satellite/RoadRunner models are collectively referred to as "B-bodies".
If you're asking for what the body/car code is in the VIN, that would be "W".
For example a VIN of WH23G2A123456
would decode as follows:
W=Charger (Car Line)
H=High (Price Class)
2=2 (Doors)
3=Hardtop (Body Style)
G=318 2bbl (Engine)
2=1972 (Model Year)
A1=Lynch Road (Assembly Plant)
23456=23,456th car scheduled for production
So to sum it up you have a 1972 Charger SE, 2-door Sports Hardtop, 318-2v engine & was the 23,456th car scheduled for production at the Lynch Road, Detroit, MI assembly plant.
If you copy down the VIN which is located on top of the the dash near the windshield on the driver's side, go to www.maxwedge.com & type it in there. It'll give you some basic info on your car.
On top of the driver's side fender, there should be a metal tag with all kinds of letters & numbers on there. Those indicate what options came with the car & also has the VIN number. www.stockmopar.com can help decode that for you.
Hope this helps.
