Nothing wrong with you checking your own credit report.

Stop---desist--you are about to make the mistake of a lifetime--by ruining your own credit you will join the ranks of the disfranchised of the world and in no time you will be utterly powerless--you know not what you do--rather use this awesome power you wield to the good--hold a private lottery --pick one unsuspecting soul each month to give a perfect report to--it will be covertly evil--make some poor sucker's year and give you unbelievabily interesting dreams at night

no, its unethical to do so and possibly illegal. Instead, you can get free credit reports from the credit companies. I would suggest going that route.

check the employee's handbook. it may be grounds for termination for doing personal business on the clock. if it's not listed in the handbook then it might be a good idea to ask your supervisor. the worst they could tell you is no. it's not worth risking your job.

yes, it can help you figure out what you can do in the long run to insure it doesn't get so bad. Also you can help other people to make sure theirs doesn't get so bad either.

well, i guess to see is to believe. you can better assess a certain situation if were able to experience them yourself. not only by observing but also being part of the situation.

my suggestion would be not to, because most companies dont like when their employees use or what they think is abuse the privledges that they give them.

As long as it won't get you written up or fired, why not?
