No, because my side (view of things, etc) is not better than His.

So the only question left, is am I on His side or not?

Sorry, I'm going to answer anyway.

According to Jewish folklore, God is on the side of those who do good things and that includes Atheists.

Evil self-absorbed people including fanatic Christians, even if they think they are doing God's work will always be condemned by God.

I'm a Catholic. I believe he is...atleast right now anyway. In the Bible it says he won't give u more than u can handle, or if he does, he'll provide a way out. I think that's all he's doing for me. I really hope he's on my side, cuz if not, I'm screwed. He's all I've got. I think he might be the only person who likes me too, I mean, I'm still on the planet, so there's gotta be something he wants me to do that I haven't done yet. He's helping me live through this rough thing called life, so, yeah, I believe he's on my side.

That is kind of a silly question to ask... In one way you can say that since things are going your way, the God you believe in is on your side...but right when things go wrong... you belileve that god hates you and is out to get you.

Goddess/God give us gifts.. always... whether the event be good or bad, it is up to us to react to it and to learn the lesson that is meant to be learned. When good things happen, be sure to thank them for the good fortune. When bad things happen, ask for help in understanding the lesson there to be learned.
If you choose to be evil/bad, then things will happen to try to get you on the right path. Your ultimate goal, then is to promote the greater good.

also... wouldn't it be prudent to hear fromt he perspective of an atheist? Perhaps understanding WHY they choose not to believe in a "god" entity? Just a thought :-)

Yes, when I choose to be on God's side. What is truly best for me is not always what I want or trive to achieve. In those time God is near and will be comforting but God will not assist me (be on my side) What we all need to do is seek God to show us what God wnats and be on God's team not ask God to join our team.

God is on everyone's side regardless of race, religion, creed, gender, nationality, etc.

Don't put more faith in God then yourself; God just gave you the resources and the ability to use them. It is you who makes the decisions in life.

God is not on anyone side, God is merely God and is where he is. Men may follow God and do what God commands, and God will bless then, but God is not on side

what is the point of this question?

i'm an agnostic, so i'll answer

god is not on anybody's side, you're trying to fit a human trait on god

that's very presumptuous of you

what if he is on your side? will that make you more confident? do you know what self-reliance means?

what if he is not?
