because we're little people, afraid the world will crack through our shell of self-rightousness and all-knowingness and discover the weak, frail creatures we really are.
+ chicks digg people who give lots of smart-*** answers on yahoo answers ;)

Because it is within the Community Rules and the Terms and Conditions that people only post an answer when they know an answer to a question.
Naturally, if people are only posting if they know the answer (or are attempting to answer a question), then everyone will "act" as though they know what they are talking about - Because they do know what they are talking about.
Those to look out for are those who are gaming for points, who literally don't know. Their answers make the questioner believe the question has been answered, when in reality it hasn't.

Door #1. Because I like to read questions by people who don't use their spell check and use improper grammer.
Door #2. Because I like to hear what the rest of the known world is thinking about.
Door #3. Because I like to help people out who have a lagitimate question that I have a lagitimate answer to.
Door #4. Because I want another 2 points.
Choose a door, any door but only one door for the answer you are seeking.

I'm really sorry but I am really rubbish at acting!! I just give my personal opinion and sometimes if it is an interesting question, i do some research so i can try and get the best answer. I actually learn something interesting, and it makes me feel good that i taught myself something. And it also makes me feel good that I taught the person who asked the question. It also makes me feel better to help people. So, no its not acting, its just being really helpful and giving out what information you already have, and finding out about new information.

This forum gives peeps a chance to spout off about anything, so naturally the know-it-alls (like me) come scrambling out of the woodwork to be heard.

Some people do know what they're talking about and some genuinely think they know what they're talking about even if they really don't and some people just like to misinform people.

The internet is a reason why people are intelligent and if you do your research, you'll see why people act like they know everything.

Because in reality, we all serve hamburgers at McDonald's for minimum wage. Here we can feel more powerful, especially how we can lie and get away with it?
why is it a problem to you?

Well, that's what happens when you ask questions.Everyone tries to answer them the best they can. Maybe you should stop asking questions if you don't like the answers you get.

Mainly because people that ask questions pretend they have facts or the truth. People that don't agree with these "facts or truths", answer with their own pretend facts. Those that agree with the questioner's pretend facts, pretend the questioner is correct.

In this category, people respond with their opinions; even if there is historical knowledge, it is sifted by personal experience, especially as to which is most important.
