I dyed my bleached blonde hair brown, and both my husband and I love it. But some of the blonde is still coming through, so I'd like to use another batch of brown dye. About how long should I wait to dye my hair again?

give it a week or two, and then dye it again. It'll be better for your hair if you wait longer, but about a week should do it, and if you feel like your hair is fried, try using an intensive condition or a hot oil treatment. The hot oil treatments are easy, all you have to do it take the tube and stick it in warm water for a few minutes, and it'll work wonders on your hair.

The reason the blonde is showing through is because you didn't properly add the colour back to your hair. When hair is bleached it goes through stages. When you go back to a darker color after being blonde, you have to put the red back in it, otherwise it will fade right away.

I would wait about a week, go to a stylist and tell them you need a base color of red put on it before you can colour it back brown...maybe like a level 6 or 7. Then have them color it the same brown color that you have now. It will help it to not fade.

if you use a semi-permanent color or demi-permanent (a stain) you can color it right away. If you use a permanent one that contains ammonia, then I'd wait a couple of weeks.
