i am a blonde and people make fun of me all the time when i mess up what i say or i just sound stupid the way i say it!sometimes i feel like i have to be perfect just to fit in,or are we just born to stand out?

I wasn't under the impression that people actually took that seriously. Most of the blond jokes I get are from blonds. Blond moment comments are almost always from blonds. It's a laugh with them rather than laugh at them type of stereotype.
70% of fitting in is how you project your self-confidence. I bet if you asked, most people felt like it was hard to fit in in their younger years (up to 22 or so) and it got easier as they got older.

When a burnette or redhead asks a dumb question, does that mean they are really blonde?
I am sick of the blonde stero typing also.
I chalk it up to jealousy. Look at all the dyed ones out there that aren't true blondes. Does that make them stupid too?

Blondes are labelled dumb from movie stars etc.and it just went down from generation to generation...u do have to act perfect because people are waiting for u to mess up and when u do all they say is told u she was dumb.....i'm sorry bout this but i really dont know how to help you because the majority of people think this.....good luck to you.

lol i know how you feel lol ok what you do is when you mess up or just having a dumb moment just beet them say im such a blonde and stasrt laughing. people make fun or blondes cause they want to be one do you see blondes dying there hair brown or something NOO but do you see some brunettes dying there hair blonde yep so take it as a complement and just say im such a blonde

Actually, there is a scientific explanation. People who are intelligent have a lot a zinc and copper in their hair. Copper is reddish-brown so brunettes can be smarter. But that's not always the case.

I think its because blonde's are hot, and calling them dumb is the only negative thing someone could say about you... because if your hot you don't have to be smart.

It depends on the person I guess.
i think it just happened one day a long time ago then that stereotype just stuck.
I know some natural blondes who are successful, smart and ambitious. BUT.....
I know a ton of natural brunettes who are successful, smart and ambitious.

the only reason people think that blondes are dumb is because they think that blondes think that they are superior...but jus ignore it......blondes are just as smart as other people
