A lot of you are seriously misinformed and ignorant. Like many religions, Islam as progressed along with the times. It's more tolerant now than it was hundreds of years ago. Don't try to tell me that Judaism and Christianity were as open-minded from the beginning as they are now.

Muslim women aren't oppressed - and I should know, since I'm both a Muslim and a woman. I've never been oppressed a day in my life. Get your facts straight.

And about how all Muslims are radicals set to "Kill"? You people should look at the terrorists and zealots in your own religions first before pinning all the cases of terrorism on one religion. The country I live in has Islam as its official religion, but we live in peace with Christians, Hindus, and yes, even Atheists. It's called "tolerance" - try it sometime.

oh yeah - lets all go kill innocent ppl so we'll be ready for the angel of death!

what are u retarted? islam is nothing more than a lie started by a dilusional man who was mentally crazy.

and unlike ur relgion, judaism doesnt condemn ppl for not being jewish. in fact - judaism is very skeptical of ppl converting and it is something which is looked down upon. we believe that everyone, no matter race or creed, has a right in the world to come.

freedom of choice is another factor. G-d created man with intelligence to think and come to conclusions on his own. if the purpose of man was to be islamic, then 1. why wasnt islam created long before it actually started and 2. why wouldnt G-d just make everyone islamic. why have free choice.

I wouldn't accept Islam because I already have a religion where I believe in and am happy with. Most religions are good, anything that gets people doing the things that make this world better, is a good thing to me. I will say that too many people have killed in the name of Islam, but the crazy part is that they were killing Muslims.

Islam is a Semitic faith, which has over 1000000000 adherents global. Islam skill "submission to the favor of God". Muslims settle for the Qur’an, because the interest of God printed to His very last and intensely last prophet, Mohammed (peace be upon him). Islam states that Allah despatched messengers and prophets in the course of the a at the same time as with the message of solidarity of God, and responsibility in the Hereafter. Islam consequently makes it an editorial of religion to trust in all the previously prophets, putting out with Adam, and persevering with with Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, John and Jesus among many others (would peace be on all of them). alhamdullillah you do not listen what media suggested.

The number one reason for me to reject Islam is that as a Christian I cannot hold to their doctrine of works to get one into heaven. Aside from that the portrayal of Allah as a mean spirited diety that requires the death to all infidels really smacks in the face of what I would expect from an all loving God. I have heard things about the moslem faith that seem ridiculous like the 72 virgins thing but I don't know if that is a true doctrine or only what those who want to hate some group of people for whatever reason they can find. I personally do not hate the Islamic world but sure am dissapointed by those claiming to be acting on behalf of Allah in the spead of terrorism. Whenever I ask questions about my concerns on line I am usually met with reasons to disbelieve my own faith rather than reasons to consider Islam. I would be open to respectful dialogue with those of the moslem faith but so far have not found one willing to remain rational or open to respecting my beliefs in a matter of intelligent conversation. Also the five tenets or pillars of their faith that include a Holy War or Jihad with others is totally contrary to what I myself would wish to participate in if I was to become a moslem. Love has to be an underlying expression of my faith if I am to represent God to the rest of the world and for me Christianity is the best way I know of in my desire to see peace with my fellow man. Someone needs to explain the role women would play in "paradise" also. I know that many christians do a poor job of representing their faith to the world but i see this as a fault in the believer rather than the fault of God.

I don't follow man-made religions. There are flaws in all of them.
I've seen the angel of death once already... I smiled back.
I am very clear on what it is.
I am very satisfied.

I don't need a religion nor a book to tell me what is going on. I am, somewhat, intelligent enough to figure this out without the help from books that were written for tribal people who wandered desert areas.

angel of death, huh? I think I will stick with my own beliefs. I do not accept Islam for the same reasons I do not axccept Christianity. They are man-made! Let it go, and you will find that life can be much more fulfilling living for yourself. And not always trying to impress some imaginary friend.

This is why I reject Islam:

Revelations 22: 18 reads as follows: I warn everyone who hears the words and the prophesy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add him to the plaques described in this book.

This verse makes it clear that the Holy Bibile is the word of God. Anything that is added to it such as the Quran or the Book of Mormon is to be rejected.

You cant force anybody to accepting the religious beliefs.I would have respected if i ws a born muslim.
The way women are treated is not truly Islamic.Islam is noble,is ahead of its times, progressive.Treats women with respect.
First it is for the muslims to follow the religion in a true way without distorting.Others will surely follow who are convinced.
