I talk to my computer.. my bike.. my toys.. even ants... does anyone els out ther do it...

Oh absolutely. I talk to my plants, especially if I am gardening and need to repot or prune, I talk them through it in a reassuring way! I talk to my teddy bear. When I walk into my house, I say "Hello, home!" Talk to all sorts of things .. I figure there's energy in everything and that perhaps there's a connection to be made and some kind of understanding flows between us .. or perhaps my good vibes sent out to these things, returns some more good energy to me. Who knows, whatever! I'm happy. My teddy bear looks happy. My house feels like a happy place. And my plants are beautiful.

I do talk to my computer, and sometimes to my car, cause, these are the devices that I use the most during the course of the day, and I mostly happen to be alone when I am using em. probably, if someone else is around while I work on the comp, or am driving I speak to the person, and not these inanimate things as you call em.

I have seen many people strike up conversations with various inanimate objects. Many people think this behavior is indicative of insanity. Due to the subjective nature of sanity, I am reluctant to brand people with this title without first considering alternatives. With this thought in mind, I have developed a theory as to why people feel compelled converse with what appears to be lifeless junk.
The reason people can hold conversations with these lifeless objects is because there is, in fact, a conversation to hold. There are two minds present in these conversations, we see one because our undeveloped minds do not have the capacity to "hear" the other side of it. What's really happening here is that these people are in the process of evolving beyond verbal communication and are establishing direct links with the advanced life that is disguised as ordinary objects. Their telepathic powers haven't developed so much that they can link with the complexity of a human mind, but they are able to sense and interact with the simplistic design of the brains these super-intelligent objects possess.
These objects have evolved to such an extent that they have eliminated all the unused clutter of their minds and resigned to a simple life of daydreaming, observing life and enjoying the peaceful laze of an easy life. The reason we hear only one side of these conversations has become obvious to me. These objects lack the physical attributes needed to generate sounds used in human languages. It is very polite when speaking to use the most common language of the people around. This is why our telepathic human friends repeat their transmissions in a human tongue while the objects lack the capacity to do so. They must do this otherwise the objects they are talking to will not respond. Being such an advanced society of super-intelligent beings, these objects have learned what a great impact courtesy and respect have in the development of an enlightened community.
It makes me very sad to realize that I live in a society where people are considered half-wits and nutcases for being polite and courteous.

I talk to myself all the time, so I guess I am talking to anything that is in front of me at the time. Don't know why I do it, and sometimes I'm not aware I am doing it untill someone tells me!

I talk to my food but it's kind of just to be funny. I scream on the other hand at objects that make me mad. If it makes I me feel better I do it. Who cares what people think.

I talk to my computer all the time. In fact, my computer even talks back to me. Can you believe it? You have to see this. My computer, which I named Hallie, refuses to collow any of my commands unless I say: "Please" and "Thank You".

As I live alone the first thing I do when Home is turn on my 'moving wallpaper' /TV/, and proceed to my chores. The background noise makes me feel that I' am NOT alone.

It sometimes makes me feel better to yell at items that aren't working right. I know they aren't going answer back, but it kinda vents the steam.

me too dear me too..i do talk to inanimate thing...not only tht but thigs around me....i feel i am lonely and they too cuz no one talk to them so i do...i also talk to ants...cockroach...lizards...mosquitoes...and all living thingss aroung me and...to my computer my chair....my room my fan my wallpaper...my comp..everyone and u know my best frend is my teddy...i have two in tht....one is donut and another is dumbo....i love both of them....
