It's certainly not a sin. I don't recall that being in the commandments. Then again, I don't recall there being a commandment about "thou shalt not being a homosexual" or "thou shalt not be a muslim", but apparently those are sins. It sure seems pretty tricky to me. Choose wisely :)

It's not a sin, but it rewards his stupidity, because he got 10 points, make that 12 points, for being a moron.
Better to edit your question and add under "Additional Information" that answerer #5 is an idiot and didn't understand the question...

No, it's not a sin, but I hate it when that happens!
I guess I can understand doing it, but if you have some really good answers, it's kinda unfair to them. And it may encourage some attention-seeking behaviour on their part.
I try not to grace that sort of thing with an answer. I think what people say about others reflects their own heart rather than the character of the person against whom they speak.

It may be foolish. Just make sure you're right. Idiot's are often too dumb to know they're wrong. So if you are an idiot (which I'm not saying you are), you might not realize it and be making a demonstration that just shows how little you know.

Perhaps, the question was dumb. Perhaps you are an idiot. I would say that it takes a great deal of Pride to assume that the other person is wrong. And we all know that Pride is a sin. You are going to Hell.

It is not a sin to choose what you think is the best answer, after all, it is your choice.
But you admit that in picking that someone who does not have the best answer, that you are mis-using the yahoo answer board system, which doesn't give you a high moral character, and sort of makes you look bad, in the eyes of a Christian that is. :)

Pointing it out Makes YOU more the idiot.
It's entirely possible that the question was simply not well thought out or just plain STUPID and rediculous.
Or the other guy is an ignoramous....
either way... by entertaining his need to\\for recognition of his immaturity, YOU are making yourself look like more of a moron than he.

No sin either way. The first shows no class and a lack of proper manners.

Sin is whatever separates you from God. Since God is not part of this scenario, Go For It!
