This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children. I have included references to the Biblical passages, so grab your Bible and follow along

For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6). In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife! Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2

You are dellusional. When you read the Bible, you are supposed to do it with an earnest prayer in your heart for understanding. God blessed His people greatly ! Through grace, we can all be His, and share in those blessings. I will pray for you !!! You need to speak with a minister because it's too much to explain here. But first you have to really want to understand or it will do you no good to ask. God bless you!

God created all, therefore he has the right to destroy any and all in whatever way he so chooses. The old Testament was also when people were unruly, and heavy hand had to fall to create order, law, and what peace could be possible in a world full of willful people. Osama is not God, has not created anything but pain and has no right to take away life because someone is American or doesn't believe the way he does. At the same time I don't think the US has any right to interfere with what he is doing in his part of the world, unless the problem spreads into Europe or is on US soil. They each(US and Osama) are over stepping their boundaries.

Yeah the people who wrote some parts of the old testaments probably claimed God spoke to them in order to justify their actions. The Bible was not written by God himself.

Don't you just love the rationalizations? God created man so he can kill them all, is pretty much what I'm seeing. So I guess it's alright when innocent children are killed in the name of God. This is dangerously close to what we see of Islam in the media. No wonder they claim to be following the Old Test God.

when G-d kills, its out of punishment. maybe if u read the 5 books of moses instead of just certain parts. u would realize that every death is a cause of some previous action. G-d is fair and just. and just like G-d creates and does good, G-d also creates and does "bad" (or at least that's how we perceive it). also u would realize that G-d is always warning what will happen when ppl sin.

read the bible dont read parts of it.

Yeah Old Testament God is a bit of psycho. That is one of the reasons that the bible was rewritten, that and they invented Christ. I think it is funny that Catholics and Christians sometimes reefer to the old testament which has little to do with their religion.

This "GOD" that human beings have created
and continue to create
can never be anythiing better than a reflection of its creater.
The human organism sees everything in terms of itself.
Whatever it does not want to take responsibility for
contributing to, it attributes to GOD .
It is so easy to for humans to regard themselves as "naughty children" who are
going to "get a spanking when their father (Father) gets home."
"The dog (God) ate my homewok!"
"The Devil (the evil in me) made me do it.
" We are all born into 'origininal sin' "
Perhaps the human race as a whole IS hardwired into this permanent pathetic psychosis!
Generation after generation of inherited psychological poverty of the spirit.

AND MUCH MORE
Luke 19:27 bring those that would not have me reign over them and slay them before me

As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you

Deuteronomy 20:10-14

1 Samuel 15:2-4
Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.
Numbers 31:17-18 "Now kill all the boys [innocent kids]. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."
Numbers 31:35-40 "[From the captives of war] 32,000 women who had never slept with a man.......of which the tribute for the LORD was 32 [among them were virgin girls]."

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you ... Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die." -- Dt.13:6-10

Cut wooman's hand
Deut 25:11-12 "If men get into a fight with one another, and the wife of one intervenes to rescue her husband from the grip of his opponent by reaching out and seizing his genitals, 12you shall cut off her hand; show no pity."
