I have a degree in English and Literature. Not much work experience, I can walk short distances with crutches . I need some company to provide transport and will accept my condition. I wet my diapers every 1 hour, so there has to be a toliet for me to change . Also my maid may have to be with me. MY interests are with teaching the English Language, children ,adults are all welcome. I am not interested in investing into seminars or courses, I like to see people hire me for tuition or any office work.

there are a lot of social and health problems associated with life in a wheelchair and employers who are open minded are usually aware of the problems.
Usually government departments are required to make allowances for employees who have disabilities. so it could be useful to start looking through government job advertisements.
alternative are to:
*offer your services as a tutor at a local college or universtiy
*advertise in your local area as a tutor
*talk to your local employment agency about the kind of work you'd like to do
*make an appointment with an occupational therapist whose job it is to make it possible for you to deal with every day things like getting and maintaining a job.

OK, time for a reality check.

"How to make lots of money" excuse me, most of us would like to do that!

The odds of a company providing transport are pretty darn slim! You need to make your own arrangements, either using your own car/van, public transportation or para-transient.

As to accepting your condition, much of that will depend on you. There are a few people who will never accept a person with a disability, but most of the time it is more how the person with a disability carries themselves.

If you want to teach, then apply for a teaching job at one of the local schools. With the ADA they won't give you any grief about having an attendant to assist with personal needs.

Is safe to assume you have used VOC?

You also might want to check the Social Security Red Book, you may qualify for IWRE or a PASS plan to offset the cost of going to work.

BTW, teachers don't make lots of money. ;-)

If you are serious about going to work, feel free to e-mail me.

Maybe you can be a librarian. I don't know where you live, but in Europe there are so many places opened for handchapped people. try Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway. They have one of the best health insurance and open for everyone. You might take it as a joke, but just search somethings with Google. Good luck. But let me say this. you should think earning money, but not "lots of money" or "being rich". Just find some job and see next.

it's good that you have your degree. i have one too, and i'm also in a wheelchair. but... aren't you afraid? i am. if i work, won't i lose part of my disability payments? and if i make lots of money by working, won't i lose it all? what about my assistant? right now, the government pays for that, but even if i make lots of money, will it be enough to support myself and pay her salary too? i've been in the work force, and it wasn't easy. at that time i wasn't in a wheelchair, and didn't need an assistant. i don't think i could do it now. maybe you're smarter than i am, and maybe you can do it and succeed. i just don't want you to be gung-ho about it and end up with nothing after all of your hard work. just weigh out the consequences before you jump in. good luck.

Do you have a grasp on the use of online search engines? With your English and Literature background perhaps you could look into assisting local college students with research on their papers and essays for their classes. You can do this from home. I hear it can be rather lucrative. You can check around for ideas on how much to charge.

You don't have to use your degree to make money. Start an internet business in which all you do is drop ship items from a distributor straight to your customer. The wheelchair-bound part is irrelevant.

You could do any sort of writing. A friend of mine writes grants... she is self employed. You can write grants for wrothy causes - hers have a lot to do with troubled adolescents and programs to help them. You can make a world of difference just by typing something.
