It can affect your HEART...seriously...my mom is a dental hygenist and has told me about it numerous times!!! Go to a dentist A.S.A.P.!!!!!!

WOW! How can I improve on what you have already been told except to say: Listen to everyone and get to the dentist. There are dental clinics open on Sundays so go. At least they could put you on an antibiotic before things get too serious if they haven't already.

The danger is the abcess could open, draining pus into your mouth. It is actually a dangerous situation- oral infections can potentially lead to heart attack and death. Consult a dentist.

Spread of infrection to adjoining teeth, or facial structure. This is why a person's face is swollen from a bad toothache. Infection may have set in.

Aside from the pain it would cause, it can affect other teeth, lead to bone loss of the jaw, gum disease, and possible infections elsewhere in the body. Get it taken care of asap!

secondary infection, necrotic tissue, the bone metastases, white blood cell cant handle the over running infection ,blood carries the infection throughout the body, now can attack the lining of the heart and brain and now your become septic! pull that bad boy OUT!
