In a heartbeat.I left home when I was 19, got married, and had 2 kids. When I went through the divorce, they welcomed me and my kids back with open arms.No I told you so's just open arms. They gave me help to get back on my feet and when I was ready, they helped me to move back out.I am now remarried with a total of 4 kids and very happy. My Dad passed away Feb.'04 and my mom lives alone in a small duplex.I know without a doubt, If I need to go, she would welcome me and all 4 of my kids, into her small duplex, with open arms.Would it be akward? No because I am close to me mom.Would it be hard?I think somewhat because I have 4 kids and its a small duplex, not the home we had growing up.But she would give me a place to stay, the food out her fridge, and the clothes off her back....if I needed them.AND I would do the same for her....in a minute. That's why I love my parents and I was blessed to have parents like them, to have the short time with my Dad before he was called home, and the time I get to spend with my mom.

I will always be able to go back home. But I haven't lived at home in over 10 years and I pray that I will never have to go back there. Of course it would be odd. I hadn't been there and have kids now, too many grown folks under one roof don't work well.

I can still live with my parents. We have all experienced this while growing up. The only difference is if we are mature enough to handle our parents´sense of obligation towards us which can be quite annoying since we are living our own lives and making our own choices, but also learning to tune in to their demands and compromise too. Its not a dreadful thing to do. But watch out on your figure, it will suffer especially with mom´s homemade cooking!

I ended moving back home after living out on my own. I like it. It's different a little for me cuz me and my dad worked together for six years and after his mother died he asked me to move back in. I have my own apartment in the basement so it's not that bad. If you get along with your parents it shouldn't be that bad

NO! I did it once for 8 months and by the end, it was either move out or commit matricide. My mother was driving me insane. We found out a couple years later that she was allergic to caffeine and it was causing her to have violent mood swings and memory lapses, which explained her hysterical and odd behavior, but still...

I wish my parents were still alive. I would have them living with me. Yes, I think you can go back with certain limitations and a respect for their wishes, rules and lifestyle.

I could not go back, as my mother passed away and I don't have a "father/daughter" type relationship with my dad, plus his new wife is a drunk and I couldn't put up with her stupidity.
