Unfortunately, the answer is "yes". Periods can continue throughout pregnancy, although it is rare. However, it is not uncommon for a woman to have a the first period right after becoming pregnant. Usually these periods are much lighter and are referred to as "spotting". Even western olapathic medicine, which believes you should be able to treat everyone the same regardless of the fact that no two people have the same metabolism or genetics, will acknowledge that this phenomenon exists because it is common enough to be part of their standard operating procedure.

Yes, I did and I was about 6 weeks pregnant. Found out when I went to emerg. rm for kidney stones. I had mine right on time and had no idea. The Dr. came in and said,"You're preg!" I was more worried about the kidney at the time.

Yes, it is possible. A friend of mine had periods throughout her first pregnancy. If you are not sure get a test done, preferably from your doctor as the home testing kits are not 100% accurate.

Per my experience, yes, though the flow was very weak and was for a half day only for three consecutive months, after which I went for a check up suspecting I was pregnant.

Yes, you can. I never had periods during my pregnancies, however I do have two friends that both had periods during their pregnancies. The best way to know if you are pregnant is to be tested, if you are concerned.
