Yes. b/c unless he lives somewhat close yo you, you won't be able to see him except on internet, go anywhere with him, and yet you are taken so it would be cheating if you went out with another guy in your area. My advice is to just talk to him bu keep looking for someone in your area.

you're 14 years old and attempting to have an on-line relationship.
It's near impossible for adults to have one, what makes you think you, a mere child could?
I suggest you worry more about school than about boys.
Either that or find a boy that's your own age and in your neighborhood.
