I don't think the Bible is proof of God. The Bible was written by men. The only proof I need that their is a God is that I believe it in my heart.

Jews and Muslims have a monotheistic religion--Christians do not, since they worship three entities, not one. For Catholics, you can add numerous angels, saints, and the Virgin Mary. Outside of religious writings and beliefs, there is NO proof for ANY god or gods.

Sorry, Swordsman, but when I look around me, I see my computer, radio, bookshelves, lamps, table, chair, etc., and I conclude that they were created by very clever humans. Oh, you mean outdoors? Clouds, trees, flowers, mountains and Thumb Butte in the distance. Mountains are formed by the processes of erosion and uplifting of the earth's crust, plant and animal life has evolved over billions of years, as science shows us. Science has proof of natural processes--it has never found the slightest evidence of anything supernatural. Nature does not need God to carry on with doing what it does.

Lot's of folks have tried to explain God in terms of proof outside the Bible (or some religious book or tenet). It's not possible.
Belief in God is and must be an article of faith. There is no proving God (by definition, if we could prove the existence of God, we would know as much as God, i.e.: be comparable to God, therefore there's no SINGLE supreme being).
HOWEVER, having said that you may want to look at St. Thomas Aquinas' five 'proofs' of the existence of God (Summa Theologiae).

Nature in itself is proof that there is a God. Look all around you, and behold the wonders of God's creation! Think about it! Do you really think that all this was created by chance? Look at insects and animals for example. See how a caterpillar is transformed into a butterfly, or how lizards regenerate a tail. Look how creatures are hatched from an egg, then grow up
to maturity. Look at the colors in the sky; the brilliant sunsets!
Look at the mountains! Look at the sea, which is teeming with various lifeforms! And look at us--how our internal organs all function together to sustain us. But most amazing of all is space! There are probably billions of stars and planets that we haven't even discovered yet! All this was created by God, and to deny that he exists is simply foolishness!

Sometimes, intellectual question will get you further from God if you are not careful. Reason being God is to be known personally thru faith and prayers rather than intellectually.

Therefore the surest proof of the existence of God to mixed around with faithful Christians and learn how to draw near to God.

How is the complexity of DNA proof that there is a god? It's just proof that humans have a long way to go to understand ourselves and our place in the Universe.

So, by inference, anytime the problem is too complex for the human ken, that is proof of god? I can't do the Times crossword puzzle, is that proof, too>

Go outside and look at a tree. Where did the tree come from a seed? Where did the seed come from? If we sprang forth from primordial soup, why haven't we found a way to recreate that experiment, and reproduce our environment, or another life form?
Even if there is no god, what possible difference to those who do not believe in the first place, will it make? The opportunity to say I TOLD YOU SO? It's called faith, either you have it or you do not. The choice is entirely up to you.

Most religions have gods. If not gods, then spirits.

It has only been recently that people were allowed to believe that there are no gods. Prior to the modern age, most religions condemned heretics and atheists.

Socrates was forced to drink Hemlock because he was condemned for atheism. Many nameless intellectuals were killed during the dark ages and the Inquisition for refusing to acknowledge God or denying the influence of God.
