Is bleeding normal after getting the depo shot?

hi. i was on the depo shot for 6 months when it first became so popular. i had no period for the first 2 months and then the third month i bled for 30 days straight. it was very heavy bleeding with severe cramps. i was moody and had 0% desire for sex for the entire 6 months. i have had many friends get the shot and each of their experiences were different, but i tell you this...all of them were negative. i don't recommend the shot to anyone. it seems to mess up our system too much, is it really worth it???

let me tell youabout the depo shot.....everyone reacts differently to it. Some people never get a period and some people react different. after the birth of my first baby i had gotten the depo shot. I bled non stop for 3 months and was nauseas with a migraine headache then entire time. my body did not react good to that shot. So it may just be you

a lot of people do nonstop while they are taking the shot and then alot of people don't bleed at all while they are on it
