Its safe to leave it till they need a new one, as long as its not on the floor getting grubby. Cuttlefish are soft so you can attatch it to the side of the cage by poking a hole through it and using wire to tie it on as long as the ends of the wire are safely tucked away outside of the cage.

I have a yellow parakeet, and we leave the cuddle bone in the cage all the time. We always get him a new one when the old one is all gone or chewed to bits. It is totally fine, i never even thought there was a problem. It will be fine, no worries!

He won't need a new one until he either chewed up the one he has or if this one gets soiled from him pooping on it. There is no expiration date on cuttle bone, but he should always have one available to him or something along those lines. They even make perches they can chew on. It keeps their beaks short.

Cuttlebone does not go off. Normally, you can leave it until it is finished unless it gets very soiled, in which case you can soak it in a bird safe disinfectant (aviclens).

Yeah... She in all probability merely needs to get out... you need to take her out be careful tho, they ought to purely be out for 5 to 10 minutes an afternoon additionally, she must be attempting to straighten her beak, you need to get her some bite toys if she is njot attempting to get out of there, open the cage to verify she needs to get out..
