They're not exactly health food, but most are harmless, other than a ton of calories. If you're watching your weight and you need a jolt, stick with the sugar-free energy drinks, and use the energy to work out and get yourself fit.

That depend on a lot of factors.
1:) how old are you, or better, how much do you weigh, if your young, or very light, and energy drink can make you extremely sick
2.) are you going to actually be active? Because if you are, the energy will be used up, if not, it does what all energy does when it isn't used, it turns to fat.
3.) Are you sensitive to caffiene or other stimulants? if so, stay far away, energy drinks are basically pure caffiene and other stimulants.
4.) Do you have an addictive personality? Some people will instantly get hooked to energy drinks, just like any other drug (that's what they are) and, you don't want that.

Schmod's an idiot. If you're talking about energy drinks, the plain and simple answer is, they are unhealthy. They will drain your energy reserves, depleting nutrients in the body and speeding up the aging process while weakening the sphincters in your digestive tract. If you find it necessary to consume something like this, I would highly recommend taking a Vitamin B-complex 150 supplement with at least 1 gram of calcium and adding a little cardamom (the spice) to the drink to decrease the harmful effects. Use of inositol, phenylalanine and a good multivitamin for at least a week beforehand should cushion you against crashing, but ultimately if you don't have enough energy, you need to look at your diet, your sleep patterns and your health. A Chinese or Ayurvedic doctor will do a great deal more for you in the long run, but a gram of Vitamin C taken with any energy drink, even down to coffee, will enhance its effect and up to one teaspoon of inositol will make it last longer. (More than a teaspoon of inositol will give you the runs). Any kind of speed or steroid will deplete calcium and B vitamins. If you need sustained energy, then protein is your best choice. Avoid sugar. Note that an all high protein diet will destroy your health or kill you.

I like to drink nuclear energy, but mechanical, and kinetic energy are good too. I think you should learn to write a coherent sentence.

no, you should look into buying yourself healthy vitamins it will do the same effect for you. The reason why you dont is because it will raise your blood pressure and is known to give heart disease so I would suggest you stay away from energy drinks.

If you are referring to those energy power drinks, then NO! The main ingredients in those drinks is guarana, caffeine in it's most concentrated form. Remember those caffeine pills that used to be popular? Well, the caffeine in one of those drinks equals four of those pills! They are heart attacks waiting to happen!

hey man.....let me admit this...energy drinks taste nice, some are really good.....but in all....they are not very good for you....
think of them like sodas....its OK to drink sodas every once in a while...but dont do too much of em....
go ahead and open one up....take a sip...but dont drink too much.....
i limit myself to only like once a week...not self-denial but because of habit.....
btw my favorite drink is called 'energy : elements'
