While there are many conflicting reports about the people who lived in Arabia before Islam, there is much which is certain:
- The life of the Arab was similiar to the life of the Bedouin tribes today. Arabia is a very hot, hostile climate one in which in primitive times, it was an advantage to move around.
- The Arabs, while very mobile were primarily around Arabia(and by Arabia I mean the whole peninsula-not just present Saudi Arabia, but Yemen, Oman, etc.) Those countries "Arab" today were not Arab before Islam. Example: Egypt was Coptic, North Africa was Berber, etc.
- Religiously, Arabia was a mix of various Arab pagan cults, Christianity(probably in the cities), and Judaism in present Yemen and in Yathrib(Medina). Zoroastrianism was also present especially in eastern Arabia. As one might expect in a mixed religious society, there were probably some fusion religions- those who mixed elements of Pagan Arabism with Judaism and Christianity. So the religion which Mohammed preached may not have been entirely foreign to the Arabs-when he preached that Allah was the same as the Judeo-Christian Yahweh, this was something which wasn't entirely a unique belief in Arabia. But the way he stressed that Allah was the ONLY god may have been what got him in trouble with those in Mecca.

some people say people stay in a subculture of shock. They was once consistently terrified of nuclear war, Russians, communists, or black people. Now Muslims are the hot cultural boogeyman. i do no longer think of it rather is genuine that maximum people are that ignorant, or a minimum of i wish so.

This is one example.
The famous second Muslim leader after Mohammad PBUH whose name was Omar once told the prophet Mohammad a story happened to him before Islam; he said: one day my father left in a journey and asked me to take care of his God who was made from dates. Omar said after a while I became hungry and I ate part of it, then I ate another part till it was finished. Two days before my father came from his travel I went to the market, bought some dates, and remade my father God, and when my father came he asked me how is my God? Omar answered in perfect condition then his father bowed in front of his God. Prophet Mohammad smiled and asked Omar didn't you have mind to think O Omar? He answered yes messenger of Allah we did but there were no guidance. Here find another example:
