The last few days I have been plagued by a twitch in my left bicep area. I'm not really sure what's causing it and its almost constant. Any Ideas what is going on or how I can stop it??

Well, I do run and lift weights alot and play alot of basketball and Ultimate Frisbee, I don't know if that could be affecting it or not though. Yes, I have heard of RLS. I didnt know it could affect arms though.

It could be that your bicep is very tired from whatever you or doing. Also there could be some slight nerve damage. As far as stopping the spasms, just try not to use that whole arm area a lot.

Well obviously you have a muscles spasm and something is triggering it! So what you need to do first of all is to make sure your drinking plently of water to keep your muscles hydrated and you need to go see a massage therapist to work out any knot or trigger point that needs to be released. If it doesn't help with a massage or two then go check with your doctor, but more than likely if you find a good experienced therapist you'll be fine. You can do heat also b/c that will increase the circulation and ice will also benfit you b/c it will help reduce any inflammation that is in the area.

get a massage, i know it sounds weird but twitching is because the mucle is stuck in a repetitve memory thing. did you do somthing involving you bicepts? repetitve action can do this to person.
