Or do people just say that to make you pay more? I've been around a few yorkies and none of them have been the 3 1/2 lbs that breeders advertise. thanks

there is no such thing as a teacup Yorkie they just want you to pay more because i was supposed 2 get one but it got to be really big so just get a normal sized Yorkie. or if u really want a small one just get the runt of the litter i sold the big one but when i got the runt of the litter it was and still is a lot smaller then the other one!

P.S it doesn't work with labs , my friend got the smallest one and it turned out to be the biggest

no, they're actually smaller, thats why they're called tea-cup yorkies, they can fit in a tea cup. you pay more for them because they are specially bred to be that small. although it could be just a waste of money since its so small its likely to get squashed or lost easily.

according to the AKC there is no such thing as a "teacup" dog of any breed. usually these dogs are breed to be smaller and are under the breeds recognized weight. also, any AKC register dog will never have the words "teacup" or "imperial" in their registered breed title.
