Reincarnation is in the Bible, that doesn't mean I believe that's the way things are. Can anyone argue with the fact that it teaches when Elis returned he was John the Baptist? Because a man is appointed once to die only means each life has to end. It never says it's appointed to a soul once to live, only that a man (flesh and blood when on this earth) must die. Flesh can't live forever as it is in mans current state.

Actually what the Bible says is that a man is apponted to die once and then The JUDGEMENT. Read the end of the book of Revelation. The idea each soul gets one body and one life.

John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah. He was not Elijah reincarnated. He had Elijah's mantle. The same anointing as Elijah. Read Luke 1 especially verse 17.

The Bible says that again before YAHSHUA (Jesus) comes again, yet another would come in the spirit and power of Elijah to prepare the way so to speak.

Well, I think that most people are so busy defending themselves that they don't take the time to consider the idea that you may just be asking a question out of curiosity.
And, even Jesus came back and talked with the disciples. Sadly, some people only read the part of the Bible that they understand and agree with right away.

Well, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, people do generally believe that a question is honest. If you want to ask a question about something which is a matter of opinion, rather than of straightforward fact, why not give some indication about your position on it? If it's an open question to you, put that in. ("I'm not sure what I believe," or "I'm trying to decide.") If you have a belief one way or the other, why not indicate it: "Some people believe . . . " says you do not. "Do you agree that . . . " says you do.

If you do not ask your questions in an honest fashion, you cannot be surprised if you get answers that assume you are honest!

People really don't listen, or read well. Most look for key words or phrase, and recite memorized answers. If I asked a question about 'The Sacred Spook', would you assume I'm an atheist? Would you read it as a serious question? I do it all the time, and I am serious, and I am a Christian. Sadly, most Christians were reborn at night, last night.

So, which question are you asking? People assume your defending the position you're asking about because you're asking about it. May also be in the way you ask it. As for the other question, don't have a clue; don't have an interest.

it doesn't matter what the bible says on reincarnation because transmigration of the soul is one stage in your journey of experience like a Caterpillar to a butterfly ,one life just isn't enough .fact

They assume it because most people pose their questions from their own limited point of view and word them so as to elicit only the responses they want to receive.

Because those people usually are and I agree with the rest, but I also believe in reincarnation.
