Ok, my question is- people say that if you drink chilled/cold water it will help you burn calories because the body burns calories to heat up the body temp from drinking the cold water. If this was true and not saying it isn't, then why do people get more fat in the winter when there body is chilled a couple months of the year in some parts? wouldn't your body burn calories almost all day , and if you go swimming in cold water does that make you lose weight ? just wondering

Hello..I will tell you with 100% sureness that that theory is absolutely wrong( I mean that the chilly/cold water) help you burn calories.Dear,is it again 100% proven that the opposite the intake of lukewarm to bearable hot water "boost" your metabolism and respectively help you to burn fat..By the way, there are some regimes which are based on the intake of lukewarm water, daily, separated portions through the whole day.Celebrities like Madonna and some models drink at least 4 to 6 cups of such water and that's one of their "secret" weapons against fat reciduius..I have made it and for one month, along with the moderate diet I lost 5 kilograms.Every day I start the day with a cup of hot water..it really works!! Good luck!!

no....if anything it kind of throws your stomach off from the drastic temperature...maybe you'll notice your stomach being a little upset after drinking really cold water! naturally, people get fat when it gets cold for insulation....your body DOES burn calories all day but it also depends if you take IN more calories than you burn....swimming in cold water wont make you lose more wt..the exercise itself will......throwing yourself in cold water just constricts the blood vessels in your limbs so your core can keep warm...
