Detriotremedy, you one funny guy. The idea folks, is you will be so occupied with figuring out if you breathe in or out that you won't be able to hit the ball.
Breathing is one of those things you never thought about before. So now all of you who ponder this astute and cruel question, shall have a terrible time thinking about your breathing while swinging next time you play golf.
This was asked of me many years ago during a match and screwed up my rhythm so bad that now I just hold my breathe while swinging, and have been for over 10 years.

On your back swing you want to breathe in bring your club back and you want to breathe out while you swing your club down. i would worry so much about bretheing as i would the rest of your swing if you concentrate on tat youll forget about the important parts the bretheing should just come natural.

I am a scratch golfer, and I thought about this one day on the range and it totally screwed up my swing. Just make sure that you exhale completely before taking the club back, and inhale when you start your swing.

This is the question you ask your opponent when you start a match. They think about your question and play a bad round.
