I go to bed. But usually I can't sleep, so I try to resolve the issues causing the frustration in my mind.

See, the point is, when you get into these situations, it is best to remove yourself from the immediate environment of the cause of the frustration and then carry out an internal diagnosis of what did not go right. I personally start by looking at the CIRCUMSTANCES of the situation that caused this stress, NOT at the people involved. I replay the sequence in my mind to be sure I fully understood what actually happened. Then I move on to examine myself. Did I do domething wrong? Was I too ambitous? etc, then, finally, I go on to other people. I look at the roles they played, the acts they performed, etc and I try to identify what could have been done better/differently.

Once I have arrived at that stage, I am then able to sleep. When I wake up, I go out to set things right AT THE ROOT.

Please note this approach works best when you are able to emotionally separate yourself from the situation. Additionaly, the method of internal diagnosis is basically a tool for introverts. If you are an extrovert, you can still carry out a diagnosis, but you would be best off doing it in company of trusted friends.

It is a common variable with all human beings to get frustrated at times due to our own unique personal traits. Most of the time when we become frustrated with ourselves its because we want something within ourselves that hasn't come to maturity. The best thing to do when becoming frustrated with yourself is to focus on what is good in your life. To focus on the behavior or situation which makes you frustrated can pull you into a cycle of repetition which makes you always look at the source of the frustration. Suggestion . . . Look at the positive aspects and sources in your life. Don't take yourself so seriously, and do the best you can.

Think hard about what caused that frustration and what you can do in the future to not repeat your mistakes.

But keep in mind, it's still going to happen, however the analysis is how you learn from it and make life better.
