They do not know the value of time, the most precious gift of Nature. By the time they realise, it becomes too late.

If you put, for example, a straw in your mouth, you can seal your lips around it and create a vacuum in your mouth by pulling air back into your lungs. This creates the activity of 'sucking' and yummy fluids like Minute Maid Soda will come up the straw into your mouth.
In order to suck big time, you merely need to insert your straw into a quantity of 'big time'. For example, my job sucks big time from my life...

Driving while doing other things, like talking on cell phones or reading newspapers. I've even seen someone trying to eat a plate of spaghetti while driving. Their attention is everywhere but where it belongs, namely, on the road.
