I have been dealing with this guy for 5 and a half yrs off&on-I met him on Dec. 24, 2000. We had lost touch for 2 yrs and recently I ran into him. Ever since then we have been "spending time" together if you know what I mean. This might sound stupid but yesterday, the 24th of June, 2006 would have been a 5 and a half yr anniversary since we first met, and I told him that I wanted to spend time with him, he said "ok", but did not get back home until 5 am today (the 25th). Also, recently he went out of town and did not call me one time. What do you think?

I think you should drop this nut. You don't want a guy thats going to lie to you. If he told you that he was going to spend time with you and he didn't then I don't think that he is even worth your time. If you haven't seen someone for 2 yrs then would you think that they probably have moved on. He hasn't called you either. Come on, the signs are evident. Think about it.

Nothing... my dear! Its all your weird feelings that make you think of celebrating 5 and half year "anniversary"!!!??? Its you who wanted all these but your guy probably may not have understood the significance of 5 1/2!!
Worse... he is trying to go out of your clutches and this probably would have been the beginning!! You also think the same wayand that's why you have started complaining!!!!!

from experience he more than likely wont change try to find friends to go out with find a new guy the longer you waste on this one the less fun u will have

The guy is sending mixed signals. He seems to want to be w/ you, but he doesn't keep in touch. Talk to him, and make sure he really wants you.
