Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.” Exodus 31:15 “Whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.” Numbers 15:32-36 “And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day…And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses.” Each of these contradict Isaiah 1:13 “The new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity.“ John 5:16 “And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. “Colossians 2:16 “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy-day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days.”

What is your question? Are you questioning why Christians don't keep the Sabbath (Saturday) as a holy day?

If so, your Colossian verse pretty much answers it, "Let no one judge you in meat, or drink, or in respect of a holy day..."

Paul says in Romans 14:5-6 that if a man holds one day more important than another, he does so unto the Lord. If another views all days the same, let him do so unto the Lord.

The Bible does not contradict itself. Anytime we compare Old Testament Law with New Testament Grace from Jesus, if may seem to contradict. What happened is that Jesus is the fullfillment of the Law. He is the Sabbath. Our day of rest.

Yes, "brother", I keep the Sabbath, as The Bible instructs:

"And man was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath for man."

Nice to see you quoting that book you hate -- perhaps more reading will lead to greater understanding. Because this question shows a certain lack of coherence.

Well, most people think that Sunday is the Sabbath but it is actually Saturday. I'm most ashamed to say, I don't!
